Our team of diverse, experienced health coaches are ready to provide you with the knowledge, skills and strategies to have a healthy pregnancy and understand risks to your cardiometabolic health, now and in future. Each of our health coaches are passionate about providing healthcare knowledge to all women and empowering women to make informed decisions.

Meet Lisa

Associate Professor Lisa Moran leads the Healthy Lifestyle Research Program at the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University. Lisa is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, whose work is dedicated to making a tangible difference in people’s lives through practical and impactful nutrition research and clinical dietetics. She focuses on developing effective, accessible lifestyle interventions that can be easily integrated into everyday life. Her research aims to improve the health of Australian women, reducing pregnancy complications and the risk of conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), diabetes and heart disease. Lisa hopes to ensure a healthier future for both mothers and their children. Meet Sarah

Sarah is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and researcher at Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University and Monash Health. Sarah has 10 years’ experience working as a Dietitian, with experience providing dietetic care in maternity and paediatric healthcare services. Sarah’s research focuses on working with women and families to create
useful and tailored healthy eating programs to help reduce the risk of developing diabetes or Heart Disease later in life. Sarah is interested in promoting family-focused approaches to healthy eating to encourage sustainable and long-term change.

Meet Anj

Anj is a research nutritionist (RNutr (Hons), PhD) interested in identifying and implementing safe, accessible healthcare approaches to improve the lives of women, their families and our wider communities. Her work has explored the mechanistic link between diet and metabolic disorders in ethnically diverse groups. Anj intends to make an impactful contribution to Women’s Health Research, Promotion and Education and continue to identify feasible and sustainable ways to empower and advance women from diverse socio-demographic circumstances.

Meet Elaine

Elaine is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and PhD candidate at the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Monash University. Her interests are in women’s health and she endeavours to advocate for, and improve the health outcomes of, all females through lifestyle management. She has a strong value for providing passionate, evidence-based, empathetic, empowering, inclusive and patient-centred care. Her research is centred around reducing heart disease and diabetes risk in postpartum women who have experienced various cardiometabolic pregnancy complications, including gestational diabetes mellitus and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.
